FLORA
Aquatic vegetable communities and marsh environments dominate most of the reserve.
There are lakes with submerged, floating and riverbank vegetation. We also see scrubland of bulrush, Scirpus giganteus, Rhynchospora corymbosa and reed beds, Eryhtrina crista-galli, thickets of Ludwigia sp and Cestrum sp., and also Echinodorus grandiflorus, Sagitaria montevidensis as well as different species of grass.
Along the embankments, the native trees include Salix humboldtiana, the Tessaria integrifolia and the Eryhtrina crista-galli, as well as native bushes and herbs.
